Mikaela had a great first Birthday. We took her swimming in the morning and the had pizza and ice cream that evening. She loved it : ) I still can't believe she is one already this last year has gone by so fast. We haven't been up to much lately. Derik is headed to Washington for work in a couple of weeks and Mikaela and I are headed to California. So we are all looking forward to that. We have started looking for a house here which has been exciting and depressing. I kind of want to cry every time we walk through a house and find out what 200,000 dollars gets you in Los Alamos, but we just keep hoping that we will be able to find something we can call home. Mikaela is doing new things all the time. She now blows kisses, rub her tummy when shes hungry, puts her hand on her head when we say oh my gosh and loves reading books. She is so much fun. She is always making us laugh. I don't know how she learned to be so cute but we just love her and she always keeps us busy. Well that all that is really new with us i just figured i should update this blog before Mikaela turns two.
She got so cute cause she's your child. Hello... how could she not be cute! Thats so exciting that your buying a house! You'll have to let me know when you actually get one! Love ya and miss you! I really hope someday we can see each other again.
